Hey!

So we're still doing a little research on DJs

Has anyone heard or used Jeff from 'Simpsound DJ'
He sounds like a pretty nice guy and looks like he's done some good gigs, but I wanted to see if anyone on here has used him before and what you thought?

We booked him for our March wedding. I acutally asked my reception venue for recommendations on DJs because they have seen them all! She said he is excellent, gets the crowd going and everyone has a good time with him. My FI and I have meet with him twice and he is a really nice guy. I think he is going to be great! His deposit was only $100 too, which is nice in the world of deposits!! He has newer equipment too.

Jeff will be our DJ too! We met at Mitch's (on Hillsborough St) and had a few beers when we first met. He is so cool and down to earth. Our photog (April Sirit) actually recommended him to us. I'm not sure if his rates are any different for off-peak weddings (aka not summer) but he may be on the high end price-wise for you. I don't want to assume your budget for DJs but just going on everything else you've considered, his price might put him out of the running. But then again, he may negotiate, I dunno! GL!
